David Girón – CEO
David Giron brings over a decade of experience in legislative affairs and environmental policy within the City of Los Angeles. Having served in senior advisory roles for multiple City Councilmembers, David has helped shape some of L.A.’s most progressive sustainability efforts, including the landmark LA100 plan for 100% carbon-free energy by 2035 and the adoption of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. His expertise lies in navigating the complexities of local government, building coalitions, and translating policy vision into real-world results. A lifelong Angeleno and the son of Salvadoran immigrants, David combines a deep commitment to public service with a pragmatic, equity-focused approach to climate and energy strategy.
Dr. Avo Babian – Senior Consultant
Dr. Avo Babian is a pioneering voice in urban sustainability, known for transforming his Los Angeles residence into a fully self-sustaining, net-zero “Zero Impact Home” long before such practices became widespread. With hands-on experience implementing solar, water reuse, and energy efficiency systems, Avo approaches environmental consulting not just as policy, but as lived practice. Trained as an orthodontist and a systems thinker by nature, he collaborates across disciplines to design solutions that are both environmentally sound and economically viable. At E & E Consulting, Avo helps clients bridge the gap between visionary goals and real-world implementation, with a focus on innovation that doesn’t sacrifice comfort or cost-efficiency.
